1st Annual ARISE 5K Walk and Run at Leadbetter

The first annual 5K Walk and Run was a community friend-raiser and fund-raiser for Santa Barbara Rescue Mission’s Bethel House Women’s Residential Treatment Program. We accommodated 300 or so runners and walkers to help raise money and awareness for this organization’s mission.

Felici Events has built the website, created the marketing materials, digital media, and promotion, submitted free listings, and organized community efforts of sponsorship and word-of-mouth promotion with our partners and sponsors. Felici Events has also produced and managed the logistics of the event, including registration, rentals, volunteers, decor, food, beverage, and entertainment.

Santa Barbara Jewish Festival 2015

May 2015 marked the 4th year in a row that Felici Events had helped produce the Great Santa Barbara Jewish Federation's Jewish Festival. The Annual Santa Barbara Jewish Festival is a free event allowing the community to experience the rich traditions and culture of the Jewish people.

The afternoon is filled with dance, food, crafts, art,  information and the sights and sounds of the joyous Jewish culture.

There is a specific kid festival area  where children are captivated by their own kiddie's entertainment, complete with crafts, games, and activities.

Events planner, Zohe Felici, and crew celebrate another successful Santa Barbara Jewish Festival

Every year in the spring, the Jewish Federation of Santa Barbara produces a community Jewish Festival in Oak Park. This year's event was a success and brought together all types of people from the local community in celebration of Jewish culture and the 66th year of Israel's Independence. The event planner, Zohe, has been involved in the organization of the festival for the last three years.

Some of this year’s festivities included entertainment by:

• Moshav Band , an internationally acclaimed American/Israeli rock group
• Kalinka, a popular Santa Barbara-based acoustic folk music group
• The Jewish Federation’s JCC Teen Comedy Club
• Lorraine Klein, a singer of Yiddish folk music
• Flor de Kanela (“Flower of Cinnamon”)

The event took place on May 4th, at Oak Park, in Santa Barbara. This popular park is located near the downtown area and is an ideal venue for medium sized festivals like the Santa Barbara Jewish Festival. It includes a BBQ picnic area, restrooms, kids’ playground, wood stage/dance floor, parking, and plenty of room for vendor booths and other mobile event stages.
